Katherine L. Jackson
Katherine L. Jackson joined McAleer Law in 2013 as a civil litigation attorney, focusing on personal injury and worker’s compensation clients.
Ms. Jackson was a licensed claims adjuster for one of the top five insurance carriers in the United States before earning her Juris Doctorate from Florida State University. After graduating, she took what she learned through her years of working for insurance companies and now uses that insider’s knowledge and insight to obtain justice for injury victims. Mrs. Jackson knows the ins and outs of complex insurance coverage issues and utilizes this knowledge to obtain the best possible results for her injured clients.
She has a passion for getting justice for her clients. She is a certified domestic violence and sexual abuse advocate in the state of Florida and also a former Georgia Prosecuting Attorney’s Council Graduate Intern at the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office.
Ms. Jackson enjoys being involved in the community. She is a member of the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section, the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, the State Bar of Georgia’s Young Lawyer’s Division, the Auburn Alumni Association (lifetime member) and Delta Gamma sorority.
Mrs. Jackson graduated magna cum laude from Auburn University. She and her husband are avid football fans and they currently reside in Decatur.
