  1. disclaimer.

Bone fractures or breaks are seen with high frequency in car wreck and slip and fall cases. Typically a broken bone or fracture is treated by setting the bone and fixating it in a cast. Hairline fractures may not be picked up by x-rays and may go undiagnosed without imaging more advanced than an x-ray. An MRI or CT scan may be required to properly diagnose this hidden type of fracture. Some fractured bone injuries can also squeeze and close vital arteries and nerves causing paralysis or even death.
